We teamed up with MANAEL firearms manufacturers and Warwick Firearms Australia to deliver a bolt-on solution for the new WFA1-L Bolt Action Rifle. Its called the FABA Kit (or Forward Assist Bolt Action), which creates an easy forward operation of the bolt action, with an ergonomic foregrip. No changes to rifle category. Just easy, ergonomic use.
Can we call this "The Australian Terminator" and get away with it? Aussie made MANAEL action, Swan Barrel & PRP Chassis....designed exclusively for the Australian Precision Rifle Series by Ignition Custom Engineering. Read the story behind it...
It started with a Remington 700 and a very loud Cerakote job....but all good things come to an end, including the reign of the notorious Ignition Custom NERF Rifle. We pay tribute to the work horse that served us through two years of Australian precision and practical rifle events (2016 to 2018).
This Tikka T3 has been given a new lease on life with a little love and care from our gunsmiths. The action was in unfired condition, but the bolt was damaged with minor surface marks. Functionally, it was perfect but its appearance meant it couldn't be sold as "new"....so we got out hands on it and had a little fun giving the factory rifle a facelift. Including a Masterpiece Arms chassis...
What do you do when you can't find an off-the-shelf solution? We turned to Aussie firearms manfuacturer MANAEL for a custom titanium action to create a unique ultra-light-weight build (so customised, the client even chose their own serial number). Featuring Southfort Labs Kiwi Composite components. Built in Adelaide by our gunsmiths.
Upgrading the action & bolt The Howa 1500 can be a cost effective rifle to base a build on. From the factory they perform well, but with a little aftermarket care can be a very competitive and accurate tool. In this case, it formed the basis of a powerful long-range hunting rifle in South Australian conditions.

Today we look at a ground-up custom build by our Adelaide gunsmiths, capable of competition-grade performance at 1000m distances. The new owner and lucky shooter only needs to fit a scope, head to the field and step it out as far as their skill allows.
One of our specialties as gunmiths (and passions as shooters!) is precision and practical rifle series (PRS) style competition - so that formed the overall direction and theme of this custom rifle build. It had to be something easy to maneuver in movement competition with reliable performance and precision accuracy.

Thanks to custom picatinny rail created in-house by our gunsmiths, this 22LR Lithgow Crossover now has the elevation adjustment to shoot out to 400m on dial-alone.
The rifle was set up for long-range competition use (precision rifle and field) but the factory mounting options didn’t support enough scope elevation. This was reducing the amount of elevation available, costing time and accuracy when finding and hitting the target.
So, our gunsmiths created a picatinny rail in 55MOA to allow maximum elevation adjustment. The rail was made to suit the length and size of receiver, with a cut out for the ejection port and drilled/tapped to suit. It was finished in black Cerakote.
With a trigger job to bring the factory trigger down to 1lb, it is ready for some accurate competition and field work.
